Motive Expands Presence in Latin America with Cable & Wireless Agreement
Leading International Telecom Company Selects Motive for Broadband and Digital Home Management in Latin America

Digital Latin America 05 Summit – Motive, Inc. today announced that Cable & Wireless has selected Motive software to deliver and support digital home and broadband services for customers in Latin America and the Caribbean. As part of the agreement, Cable & Wireless, a leading international telecommunications company with customers in 80 countries, will use Motive management software to manage its broadband home networking services and high-speed data offerings. The move will help ensure a superior user experience for Cable & Wireless subscribers through simple self-install and self-repair capabilities.
The Latin American broadband services market is experiencing tremendous growth. eMarketer estimates the Latin American broadband subscriber market will increase from 3.4 million in 2004 to almost 10 million in 2008. Motive is working with Cable & Wireless to support the delivery of broadband and digital home services to this expanding customer base by providing automated service setup, support and management processes for customers in Jamaica, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, and the Grenadines.
